David Flores Joins JLA Madison Office

Madison, Wis. – JLA Architects is pleased to announce the addition of David Flores as a project assistant in our Madison office.

David is a MATC graduate with extensive experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) as well as Laboratory Planning. As a project assistant he will provide support to our project teams in all phases of a project from design through construction administration.

Before joining JLA, Flores worked for another Madison area firm for 11 years. “I liked the fact that JLA is a young company with a lot of potential and a good portfolio.  I was impressed with what Joe had done with his career and this firm in such a short amount of time. And I liked the fact that JLA will let me be a part of each project phase and develop as I work to become licensed.”

A self-professed ‘Marine brat’, David has lived all over the country and even in Scotland and Spain.

“What drew me to architecture was the blending of art and arithmetic. It all started with a manual drafting class in junior high. I love art and love to draw but having rules (codes) and parameters to abide by make it fun and challenging.”

When he’s not hard at work, David enjoys spending time with his daughter Olivia and outdoor activities like soccer, basketball, volleyball and flag football.
