“The Black Business Hub and Black Business Hub Accelerator will be the Madison region’s premiere enterprise center devoted to incubating, accelerating, and networking diverse businesses and entrepreneurs.”

It will offer a one-stop, place-based system of entrepreneurial support, loans, grants, technical assistance, networking, and much more. The Hub will be transformational for generations of Black entrepreneurism in the Madison region. It will create jobs, generate wealth, incubate new ideas, nurture talent, and so much more.

About the Project

The Hub sits at the corner of Park and Hughes Street near the Urban League of Madison’s current facility. It provides physical space for business owners, offers entrepreneurial support services and common spaces to encourage collaboration. In addition, it offers a combination of retail & commercial spaces for businesses offering food products, technology, entertainment, personal care, and financial services. A rentable commercial kitchen will also be available at the facility. Over 100 Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs are expected to be supported by the Hub.
