With offices in both Madison and Milwaukee, you’ll find some of the best restaurants, shopping and recreational activities that Wisconsin has to offer…
Located on the Yahara River in Monona, JLA’s Madison area office is located in “The Current” part of the Yahara Commons development. Employees are within walking distance True Coffee Roasters, Buck & Honey’s restaurant, Belle & Bleau salon, and The Tasting Room (a wine & cigar lounge). Employees can enjoy the on-site fitness center, easy river access, and an adjacent city park that offers a variety of seasonal activities including an ice rink in the winter months.
Just a 15-minute drive to the Capitol square downtown, you’ll find plenty of options for shopping, restaurants, outdoor festivals, and concerts. Set between lakes Mendota and Monona, Madison has also been recognized as a top canoe town by Paddler magazine, as well as one of the ten best bicycling cities by Bicycling magazine.
Our Milwaukee office is located in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward, just south of downtown Milwaukee. Known as the city’s eclectic arts and fashion district, you’ll find nationally and locally owned restaurants, spas, theaters, galleries, and boutiques all in a historic warehouse setting.
What’s it like to work at JLA?
"The people here are all interesting to talk to and helpful at work and outside of work. Plus, each project is interesting and unique, and I usually learn something new during each project."Camron B.
"I enjoy the JLA culture that emphasizes a 'TEAM', 'WE', 'OUR', approach to everything."Ed C.
"At JLA, I'm loving my experience. At a smaller firm, you're more hands-on. You don't have as many people, so you're covering more aspects of the design, from sketching and schematics, all the way through construction documents."Rafeeq A.
" I enjoy the family atmosphere and flexible work environment created in both our Milwaukee and Madison offices. Our clients needs are our main focus as we include them in our JLA family."Jerry W.
"I feel like I work ‘with people’, not ‘for people’ at JLA. There is a laid back, yet productive atmosphere. People can be themselves here."Sal I.
"A work / life balance is really important to me and I really appreciate that good relationships are crucial to the culture of JLA including those with your colleagues, your consultants, your clients, and your community. "Leah T.
