Denver Architect Erik Jansson to Lead JLA’s Denver Office

Vice President & Denver office Director Erik Jansson, based in ColoradoDENVER — JLA Architects has announced their new Denver office will be led by Erik Jansson (AIA). As the Denver office director, Jansson will oversee the general operations of the firm’s Denver office and play a key role in JLA’s business development initiatives in Colorado. As a vice president of JLA, he will join the firm’s Operational Leadership Team in shaping and influencing the firm’s operations as well as its growth & evolution. Jansson has a career spanning 23-plus years including several developments in the greater Colorado area for both public and private clients. During his career he has worked in various market sectors and project sizes ranging from boutique hotels to complex municipal facilities.

Jansson holds a Master of Architecture & a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee as well as B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He is a registered architect (CO, WI, MN), a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA); a LEED AP BD+C accredited professional with the USGBC and holds a certificate with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

JLA’s Denver office is open and operating in the RiNo District (3463 Blake Street, Suite 250), with open positions it is seeking to fill. This is JLA Architect’s third location, joining offices in Milwaukee and Madison (WI). The firm has a robust portfolio of different project types – being well known for its mixed-use & multifamily projects, civic/non-profit facilities, retail environment, hospitality spaces, sports recreation facilities, and senior housing developments.
