Learn More About Todd
What drew you to project management architecture? What do you love about it?
Seeing I.M. Pei’s National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) perched on the mesa above Boulder during my first Colorado visit when I was 15 years old. Also, Mike Brady of the Brady Bunch, he was a sole earner Architect supporting six kids, a wife, and a maid!?
I love the architectural profession because every day is different and there are daily opportunities to learn from your colleagues, from owners, from contractors, and finally from users.
What’s your favorite (or most unique) project you’ve worked on and why?
Denver Zoo Pavilion (Zoo Gardens Pavilion + Plaza and Wildlife Plaza). I worked with zoo staff in designing an animal holding building that included a performance stage in front with covered seating for daily animal shows. The project included an adjacent pavilion & adjoining outdoor patio plaza for group assembly.
What do you do for fun? Do you have any hobbies or special interests?
Skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer… and live music throughout the year.
