Learn More About Judy

What drew you to architecture? What do you love about it?

I was always interested in creative disciplines, and I loved to create and build things with my hands when I was younger. I was also equally strong on the technical side, so studying architecture was intriguing and challenging.

What’s your favorite (or most unique) project you’ve worked on and why?

As a specialist consultant for building exteriors, I had the opportunity to work with a talented design team on a 34-story multifamily high-rise in Houston.  The development had more than ten different exterior cladding materials that required challenging design considerations.

What do you do for fun? Do you have any hobbies or special interests?

Around Denver, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and exploring small mountain towns.  For travel, I usually gravitate towards places with an abundance of historical architecture.

Are you involved in the community? If so, what causes/organizations mean the most to you?

I recently moved from Houston (Texas) to Denver and am looking forward to getting involved with the local community in support of local animal shelters and animal rescue groups.
