Grand on Main

JLA masterplanned seven buildings at Grand on Main and completed full services for two buildings. The massing for each of the buildings was ‘broken down’ with different roof planes and exterior materials to reference the greater neighborhood’s design aesthetic and palette.
The feature building, located at the intersection of Main Street and Grand Avenue, totals 26,000 s.f. offering multiple commercial suites. The cylindrical, corner post of the building acts as a focal point and uses a play of solid and screen panels to suggest a sense of visual movement as one traverses the roundabout. Detail was kept minimal intentionally in order to emphasize massing, fenestration and form.
