Steve Wagner To Lead JLA Architects’ Milwaukee Office

Steve WagnerMILWAUKEE – JLA Architects has announced their Milwaukee office will be led by Steve Wagner (AIA). As a vice president of JLA, he will join the firm’s Operational Leadership Team in shaping and influencing the firm’s operations as well as its growth and evolution. Wagner originally joined JLA in 2021 as a Senior Project Architect. His architectural career has spanned states and industries, including industrial, churches, historic preservation, recreation, education, and retail, as well as over ten years of multifamily/mixed-use experience.

“Steve’s vast experience and collaborative approach to architecture make him a great fit to lead JLA’s Milwaukee office. We’re looking forward to him supporting our team and continuing to share his expertise and passion with our clients,” explains JLA Founder and President Joseph Lee.

In addition to his integral work at JLA, Steve serves as chair of the Architect Section of the Examining Board of Architects for the State of Wisconsin and as Architect Commissioner for the Burlington (WI) Historic Preservation Commission.

Wagner holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science of Architecture from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He is a registered architect (WI) and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
