Wisconsin Masonry Alliance Announces Excellence in Masonry Awards
Wright & Wagner Lofts was awarded the 2023 Excellence in Masonry Award for Clay Masonry by the Wisconsin Masonry Alliance. A panel of judges from around the state evaluated the entries based on design and material usage among other things. The 2023 Excellence in Masonry Awards were honored during the AIA Wisconsin Conference, held on April 27 in Green Bay. This project would not have been possible without our project partners: Hendricks Commercial Properties, Corporate Contractors, Inc. and Brahma Masonry Construction.

Located in Beloit, Wis. along the Rock River, the development carries the name of the former Wright and Wagner Dairy that once stood at the site at the corner of Grand Avenue and Fourth Street. Its design pays homage to the city’s blue-collar industrial roots by incorporating industrial elements throughout. The four-story mixed-use development has 54 loft-style units and 1,231 s.f. of retail space.
Due to the overwhelming success of the first phase, a second building is currently under construction. This building will bring an additional 83 units and is anticipated to welcome its first tenants in summer 2023.
