About the Project
In 1907, this site was home to the Sturtevant & Wright Creamery that supplied milk & dairy-related products both locally; and even overseas. A conscious effort was made to reflect the blue-collar, industrial roots of Beloit in the selection of materials and overall design of the lofts. The site is in the heart of Beloit’s revitalized downtown along the Rock River and within walking distance of several restaurants & shops.
The unique design uses cold-form steel framing, pre-cast plank, and pre-cast exterior wall panels. Due to a high water table given its proximity to the river, parking is above ground and concealed.
