The site of Garver Point needed extensive environmental remediation including cleaning up and capping environmental contamination, dating back to site-specific issues from long ago. After hearing feedback from the neighborhood, a number of other environmentally friendly features were included in the development, such as: rooftop solar power and a green roof with communal gardens.
