Overview
In partnership with the Loveland Housing Authority, Songbird Heights will be a multi-phase affordable housing development bringing 119 units to the community. The almost five-acre site posed challenges given its 7% slope. Careful thought was given to the design and phasing to maximize project goals and minimize negative impacts of added costs of second phase infrastructure. The buildings are designed to reflect the rural agricultural setting of suburban Loveland. Phase one will include all the critical site infrastructure for both buildings, construction of the first building which will include the onsite amenities, along with surface parking. Phase 2 will include the second building and required surface parking for that additional building.
The project will be an Enterprise Green Community and Energy Star certified.
