Trades Initiatives Group School

Overview

Trades Initiatives Group (TIG) is a nonprofit organization set to transform the trades and bring positive growth in the industry.  The school will ensure students reach their full potential through a three-step process:

  1. Discovery: The school will expose students to different trades in an innovative hands-on environment, guided by proven field research.
  2. Training: Once they identify their chosen trade, they’ll have hands-on training in real world scenarios, coached by seasoned experts.
  3. Placement: As a trusted go-to for finding the perfect trade job match, TIG will enhance employee retention and be able to support employers’ onboarding processes.

The school will offer amenities for both current students and the greater public. Wellness spaces and programming efforts will offer physical and mental support for those already out in the field. In addition, early design discussions have placed a focus on sustainability.

To date, JLA has assisted with the programming and various design concepts to jumpstart the organization’s capital campaign.
